Quel bonheur de retrouver Sophie Kinsella!
Je ne suis pas bilingue, j'appréhendais un peu cette lecture mais finalement, c'est passé tout seul. Le roman se lit très facilement, il n'y a pas vraiment de mots difficiles. J'ai ouvert mon dico deux ou trois fois seulement. C'était amusant de voir certains mots et expressions en français comme la mêlée, les pains au chocolat, le tableau...
L'histoire est originale. J'ai aimé la place que tenais le téléphone portable dans la vie des gens. Il en découle ainsi des discussions, des non-dits, des quiproquos... C'est tellement vrai finalement cette dépendance que nous avons plus ou moins.
La relation entre Poppy et Sam est touchante. Je me suis trouvée proche de Poppy sur certains points : toujours vouloir rendre service, rester polie...
J'avais envie de dire à Sam "mais vas-y!!"
Les personnages secondaires sont développés. Willow m'a fait beaucoup rire.
Evidemment, plus on avance dans le roman, plus on sait comment ça va se terminer. Mais bon, il y a quand même des rebondissements jusqu'au bout.
Bref, encore une fois, Sophie Kinsella m'a fait passé un très bon moment.
D'après son site officiel, Wedding Night, son prochain roman, sortira cet été en Angleterre. Vivement !
